Pickleball Information for Franklin Creek and the LPA

An AED machine is at the entrance of courts 9 - 14.​

New Court Construction:

The focus group meetings have been completed. There is an upcoming meeting with the architect for the pavilion. 

Currently, under consideration is the building of 4 courts replacing the practice courts, 4 courts along the backside of courts 1, 2, 6, & 8, and replacing the 6 old courts 9 thru 14 with 8 courts.

The time frame for the court section of the project is dependent on permits and construction.

Top Line Pickleball Rule Changes for 2024

1. A carry (the ball stays on the paddle) is illegal. A double hit (ball hits the paddle twice during one motion) is legal.
    

2. Cracked Ball Replay - all players must agree the cracked or broken ball affected the outcome of the completed play.

​

There are a total of 27 rule changes coming but these are deemed the significant ones.
